Do you shop online???

Attention all bloggers, friends and family!! I recently discovered a WONDERFUL site to help you save money online everywhere and I just had to share. Before you order anything online, please check out http://www.retailmenot.com/.

Basically, you go to this site, type in the web address of the place you are shopping and then several promo codes will pop up including the rate of success they have had with each use.

For example, I just ordered 3 pairs of shoes from ninewest.com ( I know crazy, but they were all already 50% off with FREE shipping!) I went to retailmenot.com and got a code for $20 off a purchase of $75 or more. SO, I got three pairs of shoes for less than $80!!!

So, if you are gift buying (or shopping for yourself) online this holiday season please go to retailmenot.com first. It most always saves me at least the shipping costs!

Oh...and just because....

She Said Yes to the Dress

Last weekend Callyn and I headed out to Dallas for her very first road trip away from home over night! She did WONDERFUL!! Me, Callyn, mom and sisters left on Friday (after much drama over the bad weather and road conditions that happened to be my baby girl's first snow) to Dallas so we could go wedding dress shopping!

We arrived and my brother and sister-in-laws friday night just in time to see them before they headed out to a Christmas party and give Callyn some time to play with GranPatti.

We made use of our time and then headed out the mall where I found tons of great deals for Callyn for next year!

Saturday morning we headed out to Kaylan's consultation at the bridal store (after receiving a well baby check from her uncle!). She was so beautiful in EVERYTHING!! But, when she tried on 'the one' we all knew!!

(did you people really think was going to post her in the dress on here??? ha!!!)

Sunday morning Callyn got to play with her all her aunts and uncle Colb- then we were on the road again and back to see daddy!!

Show Me Your Life- Christmas Trees

YEAH!!! I have been waiting WEEKS for this blog hop at kellyskornerblog.com. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I just love my tree. And this year, I got to add another tree which makes it even more special. Our main tree is a "matchy" tree with a mix of all different jewel tones - purples, pinks, reds, greens, blues and oranges. I usually put the tree up the first week in November (hey, if I am going to work that hard I am going to enjoy it!!)

My most special ornament is Tatum's- it always goes on last!

The TREE (an no, that is not Emee. It is an imposter!)

Love these picks- also have them in a wreath.

Found these peace words at target on clearance a few years ago!

Midland also has a really cool Christmas store called "Miss Cayce's". They have the most amazing stuff, but since I can't really justify MORE Christmas decorations (paying for them any how!) I am always in line outside the day after Christmas to get some 1/2 price goodies. I pack them away and the next year---voila!! "NEW" ornaments! These stars (I got them in red and green) were my "new" ornaments from last year.

This year I got to do two trees! Baby Callyn got a tree to match her room, too. All done in pink, green and oranges. Since I didn't know we would have her last year I wasn't able to get any ornaments and I pretty much refuse to pay full price for seasonal stuff, most of her tree is from overflow of our main tree.

However, I did find these at target and I just HAD to buy them. I am so glad that we chose Joy for Callyn's middle name. Not only does it fit perfectly, she has been such a true JOY, it is so easy to find things this time of year that are made just for her!!

Hope you enjoyed! Have a wonderful, warm, weekend. I will be traveling to Dallas with the Brownlee women to wedding dress shop for my little sister! More to come!!

Please PRAY!!

One of my blogger friends, Kimberly, over at Henninger Happenings, needs your prayers! Kimberly lost her first baby boy, Hudson, at 30 weeks and recently announced on her blog that they are expecting again! She has been referred to a perinatologist for a second opinion on something her dr. saw on her ultrasound- please visit her blog for more details. Her appointment is tomorrow at 2:00 and I am sure they will appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers for their precious unborn baby!

Good Friends

Over the Thanksgiving break, Callyn got to meet some our our sweetest and dearest friends for the first time. It is so nice that school is out, banks are closed and we have time to travel and spend time hanging out!

Wednesday night Anthony and Amanda came to see us.... minus their 3 kiddos. Jarod and Anthony are friends from high school. We went out to the club to have dinner and then visited at home- can you tell they LOVE babies!!! I wouldn't be surprised if Callyn "encouraged" a baby number 4!!!

(I had to include this one- Anthony is a HUGE nike and air jordan fan, so it was so fitting they brought Callyn these. So cute- thanks guys!!)

When we moved to Midland a couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to meet a great group of girls that were in the same boat I was- teaching, just moved and didn't know a sole!! Unfortunately, they all moved away a year later! On Thursday my friends Natalie, Allison and Tara came over and we went out to eat lunch (nothing beats Chik-fila!) and did some shopping. We had such a great time, it made me miss them even more.

Wednesday night, my family came to visit as well. I loved this picture of Callyn and her Gramps!
