29 months

Oh, my my! This little girl is growing up SO fast. This month has been full of PERSONALITY, other milestones and progress on speech! Here are just a few things (other than valentines, the circus and potty training that I have already posted about this month) about my middle girl that are precious:

She is loving her some pillows. Her pillow, mommy's pillow, whatever pillow she can get. She often wants to take her pillow to school (yes, I make her leave it in the car!) and if she runs off quickly she will probably return dragging a big pillow behind.

Like I said before, she really is a little girl. No more baby here:( She still loves to dress up and will wear whatever I put on her. No preference on shoes, clothing, etc.

This month we also removed the side rail from her toddler bed and ....she found this!! Ha. We got rid of these things at 15 months so it has been behind the bed for a while.

The weather has been beautiful for the most part so we have been spending a lot of time "owside." She LOVES to slide and will do it over and over rotating between the short slide and the taller one, especially if she has an audience to yell "yay." Most every slide ends with the hands in the air or a clap for herself.

Mickey is still a good friend and television is still a favorite activity, so we have to be careful on how much she watches. Usually we watch a show in the morning while I get ready and then another while I cook dinner. However, there are MANY times during the day where I get the remote handed to me with requests such as "mickey mow" or "why" or "blue" or "dunt, dunt, dunt, dunt." which comes with a march and means that she is wanting to watch the tuba on veggie tales.

Pretend play has finally started. She LOVES to play with this little house and will sit the characters in the bed to go "night, night" or sit the parents on the potty to "tee tee."

Not much of a fan of being still enough for pictures any more:(

More pretnding. It is so funny to watch her come up with this stuff on her own! Here she is sliding wolfie down the slide. Other times she "walks" mickey across the floor while holding his hand. (side note...i sent her to school looking normal and she came back with a missing sock and one missing hairbow:)

Have you ever seen such long, beautiful hair on a 2 year old?

Loves, Loves, Loves to imitate everything we do. I don't ever vacuum by myself anymore! She also loves to help fix dinner and one of the most funny...while watching a Rockstar Veggie Tale video she runs and gets her pink guitar to sing and dance along with Vanna Banana.

Just a few other things:

*still in a size 2t in most things, but depending on the cut I am buying 3t's to get more wear. Size 7 shoe and...sniff, sniff NO more diapers! Just panities for this Big Girl

*we are almost done with callyn's big girl room so she will be moving in this weekend. more pictures on this to come!

*still an eater. this girl can put it away! we have been calling her our little horse. one day this month after school she came home and had some crackers, then yogurt, then mandarin oranges and then she asked for more!!! AND ate dinner!

*great night time sleeper as always. naps are generally just about an hour, but it does take her a while to fall asleep so mommy gets at least 2 hours to rest usually.

*is doing SO GOOD on asking for things by name, saying thank you and initiating prayer before meals

*favorite activities include painting, sliding, pushing her baby stroller down the block, going to the park, snuggling with mom and dad and watching cartoons
